If you work with very large tables and widely linked data, large changes in Excel can decrease the performance significantly. Here are two tips how to get around these performance issues:

  1. Set the formula calculation of the folder to Manual

Formulas -> Calculation -> Calculation Options -> Manual

  1. Ignore formula relationships temporarily

You can selectively disable checking for changes by linked fields. Formula relations are retained, but the product status will no longer switch to yellow when a linked cell is changed. Performance is increased by enabling this option, as cobby's formula relationships are not checked while the checkbox is ticked. Experienced users can use this feature to process formula-filled fields faster. Be cautious that changing the linked data will not result in yellow status on cobby side. Since version 1.45 this is the default option in cobby.
